ACG raised 60 million HUF with UNICEF Pop-Up Store

In September 2023, the popular charity wardrobe fair UNICEF Pop-Up Store and More was held again with a huge success. As a result of the fundraiser, 60 million HUF was raised through a special partnership between UNICEF Hungary and Világszép Foundation, which assists children raised in domestic state care in Hungary to support those who have experienced trauma. Following an invitation by Nikolett Blaskó, head of ACG Advertising Agency, more than 60 Hungarian designers and brands joined the initiative and donated their remaining stock and new collection items, while hundreds of well-known people in the business world and celebrities donated their valuable, rarely or often never used pieces from their wardrobes. As a result of the two-month period, over 3,500 items were collected. This year, the charity wardrobe fair and online auction was completed by a Gala and a fundraising dinner with a contemporary auction to raise awareness. In addition to Nikolett Blaskó, the event's ambassadors are Enikő Mihalik  top model and Noémi Orvos-Tóth clinical psychologist.

ACG wins E.ON Hungária’s social media tender

At the end of a rather lengthy tender process, in May 2023, E.ON Hungária announced the result of the invitation-only tender: ACG will now oversee E.ON's social media communication in addition to its integrated campaigns. 

E.ON's TikTok channel has been managed by the ACG team for more than a year now, and thanks to the tender result, the scope of responsibilities will be extended to include the management of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn channels and content production.

ACG’s campaign won the Grand Prix at PREXA

ACG’s campaign won the top prize at PREXA, on Hungary's most prestigious PR competition. Again.

After our "Bright Sky" campaign for the Vodafone Hungary Foundation won gold in the B2B category at this year's PREXA awards, the jury also awarded the overall Grand Prix in the cross-category category to the PR campaign for a mobile app that helps victims of relationship violence. But the evening didn't end there, as our campaign "Let theatre be for everyone", also supported by Vodafone and based 100% on our own solution, also won a gold award in the Social Communication category.

None of this would have been possible without the professional support and trust of Vodafone and the Vodafone Foundation, and we are grateful for their joint work.

 Samsung continues with the ACG’s social team

Once again ACG has won Samsung Hungary's social media tender, so the cooperation that has been going on for years will continue uninterrupted.  

The tender, which was announced in March 2023, not only covered the management of Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and YouTube platforms, but also included content production, whether localisation or local content production. In fact, under the terms of the contract, ACG will continue to manage Samsung's influencer pool of more than 35 people, including events organised exclusively for content creators.

"Fortunately, the experience of the past years shows that our team is up to the task, and our cooperation with Samsung is very smooth, we understand each other even from half words. A brand new Events Division at ACG

ACG grew by own events division. The brand new team started with three highly skilled specialists. They began operating during Covid by organising online press conferences and webinars, but by the end of the last year was also serving clients' organic needs offline. The start-up division's clients are the Vodafone, Samsung, Lenovo, Vantage Towers and, of course, ACG. Their portfolio includes organizing press events, corporate family days, team building events, high profile client meetings and of course, partys.

ACG triumphs at the Effie

ACG was a hit at this year's Effie! After 2021, in 2022 we won the Platinum Award and the Agency of the Year Title at the national competition of the international Effie Awards. The last year gold winner   communication of the Sopron Beer Óvatos Duhaj product line in the long-term branding category, was awarded the Platinum Effie for the most successful campaign, in 2022 we managed to repeat this with our Mindtakers campaign for the Ökomenikus Aid Organisation. Our agency ACG, which has won the title of World's Most Effective Independent Agency 4 times so far, leads the Effie's national Agency of the Year ranking with 64 points in 2021 and 68 points in 2022.

Ukraine war – Help Without Borders

The war in Ukraine has forced many people to leave their homes. But they are not alone in their struggle: Hungarian Interchurch Aid immediately came to the aid of refugees on both sides of the border. And we were not idle either: in just a few days, the Help Without Borders campaign was born to support the nationwide fundraising campaign of the aid organization.

We developed a key visual, social media posts and print ads for the platform. We recorded a radio spot encouraging donations, in which we ask for financial support from listeners in the voice of Eszter Kardos. In addition, a TV spot was produced, while our banner campaign is running on, DunaHouse, TV2, FemCafé and HVG. We also designed a HelloPay donation platform as a unique appearance, which will be displayed in Westend and Vivicitta.

In the HBLF Women’s Day campaign, we asked Hungarian CEOs to stand up for women’s equality

On March 8 the whole world celebrates women, but the number eight also highlights a fact that needs to change: Today, only 8% of the top 50 companies (with the highest turnover) in Hungary have female CEOs.

In the multichannel campaign we asked the Hungarian top executives to join forces with the Hungarian Business Leaders Forum (HBLF) and pledge to increase the percentage of women leaders. They answered the call. More than 80 CEOs have joined the initiative so far, and the number is still growing.

Hankook Tire has chosen ACG as its agency from this year

We are delighted to announce that from this year, ACG will take over the PR and social media agency tasks of Hankook Tire Hungary. The joint work has already begun: the results of this year's Hankook Education Tender Programme were announced recently: 2022 will be full of exciting anniversaries, CSR activities, product launches and related campaigns.

The cooperation will cover the full range of PR and social media tasks, so ACG will not only be responsible for Hankook's media presence, but also for the management of its Facebook page and influencer campaigns, among other things.

The pandemic forced the automotive industry as well as the communications sector to adapt and rethink its operations. ACG is pleased to continue its work with the Hankook Tire team, aiming to bring Hankook's products and socially beneficial activities into more and more people’s lives.
