MAKSZ, under Blaskó Nikolett’s leadership, focuses on sustainable growth, industry collaboration, and talent development, marking a year of progress and stability.
March 25, 2025

Following the December 2023 general assembly, MAKSZ entered 2024 with a stable, long-term leadership structure. Re-elected as president, Blaskó Nikolett has placed a strong focus on strengthening the industry and promoting sustainable growth. Meanwhile, vice presidents Mező László (media section) and Varga Gábor (non-media section) have continued to advocate for the interests of the agency community.
The organization has prioritized professional collaboration, reviving the Elnökök Reggelije (Presidents’ Breakfast – a regular forum that brings together the leaders of industry associations, fostering dialogue and exploring new areas of collaboration) after an eight-year hiatus and strengthening partnerships with MMSZ, MRSZ, ÖRT, DIMSZ, and IAA. As MAKSZ’s professional programs expanded and membership grew, new operational models became necessary. In response, Csizmadia Diána took over the Secretariat from Bende Bori, and the team was further reinforced with two new project managers.
Talent development programs have also gained momentum, with KRU and Young Cannes Lions expanding, while efforts to standardize industry norms and tender guidelines took center stage. The latest MAKSZ milestone is the launch of the Agency People of the Year award, first held in 2024. The first year of the new leadership was marked by stability and progress, with significant steps taken in advocacy, youth development, and the sustainable operation of the industry.
MAKSZ remains committed to the long-term growth of the sector and, under Blaskó Nikolett’s leadership, will continue strengthening the professional community.
